Common Issues
Camera stream won't connect▾
Ensure your RTSP camera and iPhone are on the same local network. Check the RTSP URL format (e.g. rtsp://user:pass@192.168.1.x:554/stream). Some cameras require enabling RTSP in their settings menu.
AI detection isn't triggering▾
Check that the detection type is enabled in camera settings. Ensure sensitivity threshold is not too high. For sound detection, microphone permission must be granted.
Push notifications not arriving▾
Go to iOS Settings, find the app, tap Notifications and ensure they are enabled. Also verify notifications are enabled in the app camera settings.
How do I access the web viewer?▾
When streaming is active, open http://[iPhone-IP]:8080 in a browser on the same network. The iPhone IP address is shown in the app streaming status screen.
How to set up Slack / Discord / webhook notifications?▾
Go to Camera Settings, then Notifications, then Webhook. Paste your webhook URL and tap the Send Test button to verify it works.
Battery drains too fast in Phone-as-Cam mode▾
Try the Listen-then-See mode which keeps the camera off until a sound is detected. Keep the phone plugged in for 24/7 operation. Reducing stream resolution also helps.
